Being a mom, wife and business owner is tricky business. I'm working hard to carve out time for my own creative projects - small, simple shoots that I can art direct, style and shoot all in one day. I did this shoot for Stocksy as a fun way to get excited for summer.
Copenhagen, Amsterdam & Stockholm
That European culture... sipping glasses of cava at sidewalk cafes, bundled up walks around the chilly cities, lot's of coffee drinking, museum visting and living lives of leisure for two lovely weeks.
Copenhagen Highlights : Relae : Worth the splurge! Plant focused restaurant with a superb tasting menu - we about died over their truffle and celeriac root dish // Neighborhood : A pizza place around the block from our airbnb. Good pizza and good vibes. // Vesterbro Neighborhood : streets of cafes, shops and bars. A perfect place to stay.
Amsterdam Highlights: Moco Museum : Warhol & Banksy Exhibit // Cannibale Royale : Not exactly typical Dutch food, but had the best ribs we've ever eaten // Coffee + Coconuts : A fun stop for morning coffee // De Pijp Neighborhood : streets full of cafes and cute shops and a huge market to stroll through while eating fresh stroopwafel.
Stockholm Highlights: Acne Archive : A long walk from center city, but worth it. We picked up some stuff for super cheap // Fotografiska : Fun photos! // Fabrique : I'm super into breakfast bread so ate a bunch of the cardamom buns with my lattes // Sodermalm Neighborhood : some magazine at some point called this the coolest neighborhood in the world... enough said // Swedish Hasbeens : The only souvenir I wanted to bring home and ended up stumbling on a super sale here and snagged some sweet clogs.
Cafe Réveille • Mission Bay
noun : rev·eil·le \ˈre-və-lē, ri-ˈva-li or -ˈve-\
réveille : a signal to get up in the morning
My new go-to place for a morning latté and pops of pink!
In a city where all our coffee shops seem to have white walls and marble counters, I love that this place embraces soft colors. Every design detail about this place is perfection - from the light wood ceiling structure to the soft pink walls to the matchboxes and coasters. I love to swing by in the mornings because the whole place is flooded with sunlight and there's always an empty table. An added bonus? The food is just as good as the decor.
Some menu highlights : soft scramble toast, chia pudding, mushroom hash and asparagus + burrata salad.

Est : 2014 / Founder : Jasmine Onya'e Kelley
All Vegan • All Natural • All Good
When I teamed up with Jasmine, I couldn't have been more excited to photograph her skincare line. This shoot was almost as fun as trying out all her products. My go-to favorite? It's a toss up between the skin salve and the charcoal scrub!
What we put on our skin is just as important as the food we put into our bodies and Onya'e products proves that we can keep our skin healthy with clean, simple ingredients. Jasmine began making her skin care line straight out of her kitchen 2 years ago and hand-mixes all of her products. Made with 6 ingredients or less, her whole line is completely non-toxic. Clean products, with ingredients you can pronounce. She's currently based in Napa, CA - but heading soon to Portland, OR (trading wine for Voodoo Doughnuts)!
P.S. The brand's name is based on Jasmine's middle name - it's pronounced on-yay.

Matt Davis Trail → Stinson Beach
Chris and I finally got a chance to get outside this past weekend and headed up the winding roads to Mount Tamalpais.
We started on the Matt Davis Trail at Pantoll Campground but drove right past the parking lot to save the $8 and parked on the side of the road about a half a mile past the ranger station and campground. The trail winds through lush forest and fields covered in wild flowers before heading down into the ravine towards Stinson Beach. It's a short walk through the cutest little beach town to get to the beach, where we took a water + snack break before heading back up the trail. A Sunday well spent.
Total trail time = 4.5 hours / 10 miles
I'm obsessed with mules. I've always avoided wearing any kind of shoes that block my heels (thanks canckles), so when sandals won't do, to mules I go. I love that they're having a moment, and i'm all about it.
My current go to? Charlotte Stone Elise Mules (I love these so much I bought both colors!)

My husband and I spent 5 wonderful years in Los Angeles before moving to San Francisco. The colors of that city are so bright and the city is full of good vibes. Homes are colorful, and plants are prickly. Some of the wildest plants i've ever seen were in Los Angeles. One of the things I loved most about L.A. was that the sun was always shining - it hardly ever rained, but the greenery was vibrant, in its own way.
